The research focuses on addressing material and space deficiencies in the new aeronautical engineering degree at the Autonomous University of Sinaloa through the development of a wind tunnel. The objective is to identify aerodynamic concepts. The lack of teaching materials and the need to improve the understanding of key concepts justify this research and the construction of the wind tunnel, starting with a simulated model and followed by the construction and testing of the tunnel. to evaluate its operation.
The theoretical foundation addresses key concepts of aerodynamics and forces, while the background reviews relevant projects in Spain and Mexico that have addressed the construction of wind tunnels. The proposed methodology is a qualitative experimental study, adapting specifications from previous projects and performing tests in simulation software. Although no practical results were obtained due to the nature of the exercise, it is concluded that the construction of a wind tunnel for experimental and educational purposes is possible, offering a valuable tool to visualize aerodynamic phenomena and improve theoretical understanding in aeronautical engineering. The continuous exploration of possibilities to achieve the established objectives stands out.
